Getting here

Glasgow Mela takes place in Kelvingrove Park, in Glasgow's West End. There are entrances on Gibson Street, Kelvin Way and Kelvingrove Street.

There is no designated parking at Kelvingrove Park, and on-street parking is likely to be very busy during Glasgow Mela. We recommend travelling here by using the excellent transport links available:


By Subway
Take the subway to Kelvinhall station and Kelvinbridge station, bith 5 minutes' walk to Kelvingrove Park
Glasgow's subway runs frequently (every 4 minutes at peak times). Find city centre stations on St Enoch Square and Buchanan Street.
Please note, these stations are NOT wheelchair accessible.

By Bus
From the city centre, catch First Bus services no 4, 4A, 3 and 77

By Train
The closest overground train station is Exhibition Centre, which is a 12 minute walk to Kelvingrove Park. 
Partick station is a hub for overground and subway trains. It's a 25 minute walk to Kelvingrove Park, or you can take the subway to Kelvinhall or Kelvinbridge.
