City Voice Choir

City Voice Choir is the employee choir of Glasgow City Council, initially set up as part of the Commonwealth Games celebrations last year.

The choir is still going strong one year on, and the members, from all walks of council life, have at least one other thing in common – they love to sing!  They come together once a week to rehearse in their own time and the perform at council and other Glasgow events throughout the year.

At the Glasgow Mela, they’ll be singing a variety of pop classics, some well-known Scottish numbers and a selection of songs from Commonwealth countries.
