Glasgow Mela 2014 is now over. The festival took place on Sat 7 and Sun 8 June.
Over the two-day event a record number of audiences enjoyed a diverse programme of colourful performaces representing cultures from across the world, as well as family activities, film screenings, stalls selling gifts, accessories, textiles, clothes and more, and a mouth-watering range of quality world foods to taste.
Glasgow Mela is Scotland's biggest free multicultural festival. It takes place annually, and is open to all ages.
This year the Mela was a central part of the Culture 2014 programme for the Glasgow Commonwealth Games.
