More Attractions

​As well as three great stages with busy performance programmes, there's lots more to discover at Glasgow Mela, including: 

KAWA Circus
Tight rope walking, sword swallowing and jaw-dropping balancing antics: the awesome tricks and feats performed by the colourful KAWA Circus definitely fall into the 'don't try this at home' category. Enjoy performances at 1pm, 3pm and 5pm on both days of Glasgow Mela. 

Forestry Commission Family Zone
Hidden away in an enchanted forest, teh family zone will be full of free kids' activities inspired by the natural world and traditional crafts from differernt cultures. Take time out to spend some family time at our dedicated zone. 

Glasgow Bike Station (access from the Gibson Street entrance)
Find out a little about bikes and cycling with some fun free activities. Try out your cycling skills on the Go Mountain Biking skills track; bicycles will be available to borrow for this. You can also join a cycling-inspired treasure hunt and the 60 Second Puncture Challenge. 

Free Yoga session (Saturday only) 1 - 2pm
Get your yoga on outdoors! This session will allow you to enjoy yoga in a natural environment - connect with the earth and breathe in the fresh air. The hour-long session will be taken at a slow pace to allow complete beginners to yoga and more experienced students to enjoy an energising and revitalising class together.  
Just bring a yoga mat or towel to participate.
This session will be delivered by Core Connections>

Roaming Acts
Look out for Fragile Forest, a colourful parade on stilts from the Foundation of Indian Performing Arts. Several of the acts you can see on stage will also be making impromptu appearances around the site, including Eastern Magician Jaardu and KAWA Brass Band​.
